Battleborn is a new multi-genre video game from Gearbox, creators of Borderlands. It seems to be influenced by multiplayer FPSs and MOBAs, as it has different modes of play including story, which you can play co-operatively with 5 friends, Incursion mode (which is the 5v5 MOBA-ish mode where the player fights alongside and against AI and another team) and probably other modes. Battleborn does not yet have a release date, but I will update this post when it does. There is also a 20-minute gameplay premiere video that you can find at battleborn.com

Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5: Guardians (XB1(

At E3 2014, the greatly rumoured Halo: The Master Chief Collection was announced. This game will be a compilation of all 4 main Halo games including the story missions and more than 100 multiplayer maps for lots of 1080p, 60fps multiplayer fun (on dedicated servers, too!). Along with the 4 games, the digital series Halo: Nightfall, which will bridge the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5, is in the disc as well. But that’s not it! The multiplayer beta of Halo 5: Guardians will be accessible for all Halo: The MCC owners from December 27th to January 22nd. And this Halo 5: Guardians of which I speak of? It comes out in 2015, probably in the fall. The Collection itself comes out on November 11th, 2014.

The last Batman: Arkham game from Rocksteady is releasing this Fall (probably October 14th). WHOOPS! It got delayed! New release date is June 23rd, 2015.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Game (XB1, XB360, PS4, PS3, 3DS

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ is in theaters at the moment, and Beenox has developed a game to go along with the film.

The game is an alternate version of the film, with no real spoilers for it.

There are various ways to get around, including web-swinging, web-rushing, and wall-running, and everything you do as Spidey affects how the public and the media sees you. There is lots of petty crime throughout Manhattan, and stopping it makes the public see you as a hero. Fail the task however, and J. Jonah Jameson will convince everyone that you are a menace.

There are many unlockable suits in the game, and you can also play as Peter Parker for the first time in some missions.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Game’ released on April 29th physically and digitally on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and 3DS. It also released digitally on Xbox One. The physical copy for Xbox One is expected to arrive on July 1st.

 

Destiny (PS4, PS3, XB1, XB360(

Destiny is a new First-Person Shooter from Bungie, the creators of the Halo games.

In Destiny, you can choose from three races (Human, Awoken, Exo), and then from three classes (Warlock, Titan, Hunter) and customize your Guardian to your liking. Your character then becomes the person you play as throughout the entire game, during the main story, side missions, public events, etcetera. The race you choose has no apparent effect on gameplay but the classes all have unique perks. The hunter is the most agile, has a throwing knife and its first super ability is Golden Gun which summons a flaming pistol that one-shot kills other guardians and some weaker enemies while dealing huge damage to more powerful enemies. The titan has the most armour, therefore is harder to kill. This class punches as its melee attack and the first super is Fist of Havoc, where the titan jumps and slams both fists on the ground, damaging enemies all around. The final class is the warlock (which is my most favouritest). This magic user has an “Energy Drain” melee power that damages the enemy while giving benefits to the Guardian. The warlock’s super is Nova Bomb.

Destiny is set in an always-online, open world where you can meet other people wherever you go, and join them on all kinds of adventures on Mars, Venus, the Moon, Earth, Saturn, and many more mysterious places. The enemies are the Fallen (shown in picture below), the Cabal, the Vex, and the Hive.There is only one safe city left on Earth, known to everyone as the City. When enemies attacked Earth, it was the only place that was not completely demolished. it was protected by a strange giant white sphere called the Traveler.For more information, check out this video from Destiny, one of 2014’s most anticipated games.

The Zombies are coming for your brains! The Plants vs. Zombies games are transformed into a brand-new Third-Person Shooter where four types of plants and four types of zombies are playable. These plants and zombies also have many ways to be customized, so it is as if there are more than eight characters. There are a few different modes, including 12 vs. 12 Online, Split-screen co-op (only on Xbox One) and Boss Mode (also only on Xbox One). This game sells for $39.99 and releases on February 25th, 2014 in North America, and February 27th, 2014 in Europe. Watch the video for more details.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes (XB1, PS4, XB360, PS3, Wii U, 3DS, PC(

I received LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes for the Xbox One this Christmas, and I have been addicted to it ever since. It is an open-world game, which gives a lot more freedom than other LEGO games, and still has a brilliant main story. The main story consists of 15 levels, but once they are completed, the game is far from over. There are 11 side missions and goodness only knows how many mini missions scattered throughout LEGO Manhattan. This a really great game for anyone of pretty much any age, as it is fun and has plenty of easter eggs and references for hardcore Marvel fans. Check out the trailer below.

Forza Motorsport 5 (Xbox One(

The Forza racing games have been popular Xbox exclusives for quite a while, and now Turn 10 Studios is making the leap from Xbox 360 to Xbox One.

There are three different editions of Forza Motorsport 5 coming out on November 22nd: Day One Edition (Bottom left), Regular Edition and Limited Edition (Bottom centerish)

The Day One Edition ($59.99) is like the Regular Edition ($59.99) but with three extra cars. The Limited Edition is like the Regular Edition but with tons of extra car packs, VIP Membership, car tokens, Limited Edition box, blah blah blah. Unfortunately, “All magic comes with a price”, so The Limited Edition version is $20 more than the other editions, at $79.99.

Star Wars Battlefront 2

I have this game on Playstation 2, and it still doesn’t feel outdated. This game is amazing and it’s just like being inside a real Star Wars battle! There are wars on Hoth, Mustafar, Dagobah, Coruscant, Naboo, Tatooine, Felucia, Mygeeto, Endor and all your favorite planets. Recommended, even on PS2.

Je possède ce jeu sur PS2 et ça fait toujours pas trop vieux. Il est incroyable et c’est comme si tu es dans une vraie guerre de Star Wars! Il y a des battailes sur Hoth, Mustafar, Dagobah, Coruscant, Naboo, Tatooine, Felucia, Mygeeto, Endor et toute vos planètes préférées! Recommandé, même sur PS2.
